THE CHALLENGE
To ascend 3810m on skis in 1 day - the equivalent of climbing from our office at Mont Blanc Case Camp in the Chamonix Valley at 1000m to the summit of the Mont Blanc at 4810m (minus the altitude of course!).
WHEN?
Exact date TBC - Between 6-15 April 2018
We'll be watching the weather over the next few weeks to pick a sunny day for White Triangle Creative Director Steph Caller to take on the challenge! She'll start hiking at 6am in the morning and will aim to finish before dark!
WHERE?
To finish the challenge, Steph will need to complete 4.5 laps of the Ski Randonnée trail in Les Houches. Each lap is 850m in ascent from the bottom of the Prarion/Bellevue bubble lifts to the top of the ski area.
How?
Steph will be hiking up the trail on her skis, using skins stuck to the bottom for grip.
