Kids logo design contest!

Calling all young designers!

Think you can design an awesome logo?

Fancy winning your design on a t-shirt and €50 for your chosen charity?

Great… you’re in the right place! At White Triangle we wanted to spread a little kindness and encourage graphics design skills by opening a competition for kids.

Your brief

Design a logo that represents ‘kindness’

What does kindness mean to you and how can you show that in a logo? It could be a drawing, symbol or even the word itself. Logo design is all about creating a visual mark that people will identify with and remember.

LOGO Design tips

To help you get started, here’s a few tips from our creative team…

1. Start by sketching

Rough sketches are a great way to brainstorm ideas and get your creative juices flowing. Don’t worry if your sketches aren’t perfect - a great design isn’t always beautiful at the beginning!

2. Pick an idea

Once you’re done sketching, select your favourite idea and focus on developing this.

3. Keep it simple

The best logos are often the most simple ones. Ask yourself, would my logo be more striking if I took something away?

4. Colour is key

Think about the colours you are using. Do they complement each other and what do they add to your design?

5. Get feedback

Show a parent or friend and ask for their opinion. Two pairs of eyes are always better than one!

And remember…
