The next generation of design talent...

A huge thank you to everyone who entered our kids logo design contest!

We were completely overwhelmed and super impressed by all the fabulous entries we received. The brief was to design a logo that represents ‘kindness’. It was great to see how everyone interpreted this differently to create a lovely variety of really unique designs.

In the spirit of kindness, the winner of each age category won a cash prize to donate to a charity of their choice.

Here are the top 3 entries in each category:

age 7 & under

Matilda donated her €20 prize to Cancer Research.

age 8 - 10

Katie’s design was selected by our judges as the overall winner. She donated her €50 prize to Plan International.

age 11-13

Heidi donated her €20 prize to the NHS.

Each winner also received a pack of 36 felt-tip pens. We received this lovely photo from Heidi, who won the 11-14 age category, already putting your prize to good use!

The overall winner of the competition Katie was eager to learn how to bring her hand-drawn design to life on the computer. Being local to Chamonix, we invited her to our Home Quarters for an after-school graphic design lesson. Katie picked it up very quickly and in no time was navigating her way around Adobe Illustrator like a pro! With only a little help from us, she did a fantastic job of recreating her design digitally.

As part of her prize, we printed Katie’s design on a t-shirt for her!

She came to our office to collect it and we surprised her with some stickers too.

We’d love to support more talented youngsters like Katie in developing their creative skills. Maybe we should start running some virtual workshops... watch this space!
